The base model is the xDrive50, and its two electric motors and 111-kWh lithium-ion battery combine to generate 516 horsepower and 564 lb-ft of torque. The M60 also has two electric motors and a 111-kWh lithium-ion battery, but these produce 610 horsepower and 811 lb-ft of torque. This new BMW model handles beautifully, and it's also incredibly quick. The xDrive50 has a 0-to-60-mph time of 4.4 seconds, and that's cut to just 3.3 seconds with the M60.  

Excellent Driving Range and Quick Charging Time 

Once you get behind the wheel of the 2025 BMW iX, you're not going to want to stop driving. Fortunately, you won't have to charge up the battery too often. On a full charge, the xDrive 50 has a driving range of 324 miles. The M60 offers 288 miles. When it is time to power the battery, it takes between 11 and 16 hours to charge it using a 240-volt outlet. With DC Fast Charging, it only requires about 90 minutes to add 90 miles of driving range.  

Ample Interior Space 

The cabin of the 2025 BMW iX is big and airy, and its two spacious rows accommodate five people. It also has a tremendous amount of cargo space: 35.5 cubic feet behind the rear seats and 77.9 cubic feet when they are down. You will get numerous standard comfort features, including heated and power-adjustable front seats, synthetic leather upholstery, and a heated steering wheel.
