To qualify for the award, a vehicle must be available in at least two major markets and must be priced below the luxury-car level. A panel of 98 journalists declared the BMW iX3 the World Car of the Year, highlighting its standout performance features and driving dynamics, as well as its advanced technological features. 43 vehicles were in contention for the award, and our BMW team at BMW of Asheville is proud to have brought the title home. These two titles are now the tenth and eleventh World Car Awards wins for BMW.
World Electric Vehicle Award
In addition to taking home the World Car of the Year Award, the BMW iX3 also stood out in its category, securing a win for World Electric Vehicle, as well. It has an all-electric range of up to 400 miles on a single charge, and can charge from 10% to 80% in as little as 21 minutes when using DC Fast Charging.
