If you’re looking for a bigger SUV, consider the midsize BMW X5. It offers 33.9 cubic feet behind its back row, and that more than doubles to 72.3 cubic feet when that row is down.
A notable feature of the BMW X5 is its split-level tailgate. The top part opens like a regular SUV liftgate, while the bottom part goes up and down similar to that of a pickup truck.
BMW X7
For the most cargo space, you’ll want the three-row BMW X7. It has 12.8 cubic feet behind the third row, 48.6 cubic feet when it’s down, and 90.4 cubic feet with both back rows folded. Like the BMW X1 and BMW X3, a hands-free power liftgate also comes standard.
