Currently BMW is testing their first 100% electric vehicle designed for the mass market - the BMW ActiveE. Consumers across the country are testing the BMW ActiveE on actual roadways and sending feedback to BMW in order to ensure that when the BMW ActiveE finally graces our BMW dealer lot, it is ready for you, the consumer.
BMW has not committed to a firm date for the arrival of the BMW ActiveE, but at BMW of Asheville we think that this vehicle will be for sale on our BMW dealer lot by the end of next year. In preparation for this vehicle's arrival, we have decided that we need to start educating our consumers about electric vehicles. Thus, each month we will bring you one blog post about all things electric vehicle. In doing so, we hope to show you that 100% electric vehicles can work for you in your current lifestyle. We will also tell you about the benefits that driving an electric vehicle can bring to driving.
