The countdown to the all electric BMW i3 is on!

At our NC BMW dealership, the countdown to the all electric BMW i3 is on.  10 days, 22 hours, 30 minutes, 30 seconds, and counting is all the time that we have left to wait for the highly anticipated unveiling of the BMW i3.  Though technically still in concept form, the fact that the BMW i3 is officially being unveiled in America means that we are one step closer to having this impressive, environmentally friendly and fun to drive vehicle on our BMW dealer lot serving Hendersonville drivers and beyond.

The BMW i3 is powered by a 100% electric engine.  This engine offers 170 horsepower and 184 pound per foot of torque.  Drivers can choose from three energy modes - Comfort, Eco Pro, and Eco Pro+ - which will vary the driving experience provided by the BMW i3, as well as the range of the vehicle's electric battery.  Currently BMW execs say that the BMW i3 has a range of 80 to 100 miles before needing to be recharged.
