If you have been following the New York Auto Show, which started last Friday, then you will have seen one of the latest additions scheduled to join the BMW lineup - the 2013 BMW X1.  The 2013 BMW X1 is a hybrid of sorts.  The vehicle combines the rewarding driving characteristics of a sporty sedan with the convenience that comes from the size and cargo space offered by SUVs.  Thus, BMW has characterized the BMW X1 as a sub-compact premium SAV, or Sport Activity Vehicle.  Furthermore, the 2013 BMW X1 will be the first sup-compact premium SAV to be offered stateside.

Along with the unveiling of the 2013 BMW X1 at the New York Auto Show last Friday came the news that this SAV is scheduled to hit dealer lots in America this fall, such as our own Asheville car dealer lot, BMW of Asheville, located near Waynesville.  The 2013 BMW X1 will offer visitors to our Asheville car dealer lot an additional choice when it comes to choosing a size of vehicle.  A cousin to the BMW X1, if you will, the BMW X3, has previously offered consumers the feel of an SUV, but in a smaller, more efficient frame.  With the 2013 BMW X1, consumers can downsize even more, without losing many of the desired SUV characteristics.

As we learn more about the details of the 2013 BMW X1 and the exact time that it will be arriving on our dealer lot this fall, we will be sure to update you.  Also, you can come visit us at BMW of Asheville to learn more about this exciting new model.  Of course, we cannot wait to become a leading dealer in and around Waynesville of the 2013 BMW X1!
