2018 BMW M3 May Get Carbon Fiber Roof

 
In previous BMW M3 and BMW M4 models, the driveshaft was made from carbon fiber parts to bring down the total weight. However, the German automaker recently announced that it will be returning to steel for the driveshaft in order to conform to emission regulations.

Spy Shots Reveal BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe

 
The latest round of spy shots reveals a heavily camouflaged BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe being tested on public roads. 

The vehicle's design is similar to the Gran Coupe for the 2017 BMW 4 Series and 2017 BMW 6 Series. However, the BMW 2 Series version has a more upright greenhouse with shorter rear and front overhangs. It is also suspected that the model will have a rear hatch, similar to the BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe. BMW Connected+ Enables New Remote Car Access Features

 
The German Automaker is leading the way in auto technology innovation. Last year, it released the latest version of its iDrive infotainment system, the iDrive 5.0, for the 2016 model year. 

This was followed by the BMW Connected app that enabled remote interfacing between a vehicle and a user's smartphone. Even more recently, the automaker released the iDrive 6.0 for the 2017 BMW 5 series and 2017 BMW X5 series.
