Customize Your BMW M5 with the Online Converter

If you've had your eyes set on the 2018 BMW M5, you may want to visit the official BMW site to check out the online configurator for this model. Essentially, you can customize your own BMW M5 and see a virtual image of what the final personalized automobile looks like.

For now, the configurator is limited to mostly color options. You can select the exterior palette, all of which consist of some shade of black, blue, or beige. Past configurator options for prior BMW models included more exotic auto paints, such as Hellrot Red and Dakar Yellow. These hues, though, will not be available with the 2018 BMW M5.

A few other exterior options include the addition of a moonroof, black wheels, and carbon ceramic brakes. 19-inch wheels come standard, though you can upgrade to 20-inch wheels.

Once you have finalized on the exterior, move onto the interior with a handful of upholstery styles and trims. You have your choice of black, brown, and white leather. For the dash, choose between light or dark carbon and piano black. The stitching consists of Silverstone Merino leather, though you can upgrade to Full Merino leather.

Under the hood of this new BMW car lies a twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 engine that delivers 600 horsepower It comes mated to an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission.
