The electric driving era is upon us, people, and it's time to give in to the new era of the car. Innovative manufacturers like Chevy and Nissan started the era off right with the Volt and the Leaf, respectively, and now it's BMW's turn to get in on the fun.

While the massive hulking trucks of ten years ago have practically disappeared from the market, the SUV in its current, smaller form is still inciting interest among fans of cars that offer the kind of utility they need. Especially successful has been the luxury SUV market, with all of the big luxury players putting out models to tantalize fans of both comfort and utility.
It shouldn't come as a huge surprise that the BMW is expecting big years in 2011 and 2012. Yes, the economic recession put a huge damper on the luxury car market, BWM included, but the economy is still in recovery mode and the auto industry is beginning to look up.
