This rear-wheel-drive vehicle comes with your choice of a standard six-speed manual transmission or a new eight-speed automatic transmission that is the first to be offered in this class. This car has electrically driven steering and multiple drive settings.

This 2012 328i Sedan has innovative technology such as auto stop-start, Brake Energy Regeneration, and an air conditioning system that is able to totally disconnect from the engine. This technology improves fuel-efficiency. The sedan is expected to get about 23 mpg in the city and 34 mpg on the highway. It takes this car only 5.7 seconds to go from a standstill to 60 mph.
